Chapter 6

Julius followed Natalia’s crystal blue eyes down to his crotch. Amazingly, he had become so enthralled by the witch doctor’s tale that he had temporarily forgotten his aching balls. But as his eyes took in the iron cage that surrounded his manhood, it all came flooding back to him.

Before he could make a reply, Natalia was speaking to the old woman. M’Tola turned to look at Julius’s cage, making no attempt to hide the fact that she was staring directly at his restrained cock. And though he knew she’d seen it all before, her gaze made him feel self-conscious.

She came closer and took his swollen testicles in her grizzled old hand. Julius gasped as she squeezed them gently. Grimacing slightly, she released him. He couldn’t understand the words she said to him, but it seemed like she was apologizing for hurting him.

The two women talked a while more, apparently discussing Julius’s ‘problem’. Then the old witch doctor crossed to a large wooden cabinet that stood in the corner and began rummaging through the clutter it contained.

“Good news,” Natalia said. “M’Tola has something that she says will help. According to her, this will get rid of the pressure.”

“Thank God!” Julius sighed. It was getting bad. I almost…”

M’Tola was back, carrying a small, cloth-wrapped bundle that she dropped unceremoniously into Julius’s lap.

“What’s this?” he asked.

“I don’t know,” Natalia replied. “Open it. Let’s have a look.”

Julius hesitantly took the edge of the fabric between the tips of his fingers and lifted it away. Revealed were two polished wooden rods.

Apparently turned on one of the spring pole lathes he had seen the Molongans using, the first had a handle on one end, about two inches in diameter. From there, it slowly tapered toward the other end, where it terminated in a large bulbous shape that reminded him of a chicken’s egg.

The second rod also had a handle, roughly the same size and shape as that of its mate. There, the similarity ended. Instead of tapering, it was straight from one into the other. Its entire length was divided by a series of evenly spaced notches turned into the wood.

Both of the rods had been burnished until they were as smooth as glass. The hard, tropical wood from which they were turned was so dense that they almost felt as though they were made of metal.

What use they might have escaped the professor entirely. To his eyes, they looked like batons or wands of some sort. Wands. Magic wands! That’s exactly what they looked like. Great! he thought. Just fucking perfect!

What the hell had he expected? Go to a witch doctor for help, get a magic wand! Or in this case, two! They were sure to be a big help! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!

Natalia could see the anger and frustration on her husband’s face. “Just wait, Julius. Let her explain.”

“Sure. Why not?! Have at it! Explain away!”

The disappointed professor tossed the bundle angrily onto the bed beside him and stalked to the window, leaving Natalia to waste her time with M’Tola.
